Simply Accounting 9.0 – February 2002

Both the single user Simply Accounting 9.0 and the multi user Simply Accounting Pro 9.0 were released in February 2002.

Simply Accounting 9.0 (single user)

Daily Business Manager:

  • To help manage both accounting and non-accounting “things to do”.

Batch processing and printing of recurring Sales Invoices or Payments Due.

Batch printing of Sales Invoices or Payments:

  • Now you can choose whether to print one at a time or in a batch.

Pop up calendars in date fields.

More sophisticated Sales Tax structure:

  • Allows multiple sales taxes if you are required to collect tax in more than one jurisdiction.

Five user-definable fields in Customer, Vendors, Employees etc. records.

Print Record of Employment forms in payroll.

Separate Salary or Wages expense accounts for different employees.

Include non taxable expense reimbursements on pay cheques.

Print T5018 forms for subcontractors.

Option to omit any reversed and reversing entries from transaction reports.

Transaction reports can show “User” who processed the transaction.

Link to exchange rate web site when using dual or multi currency.

Import of Records from QuickBooksTM.


Simply Accounting 9.0 Pro (multi user)

All of the features included in Simply Accounting 8.5 Pro and Simply Accounting 9.0 (single user) plus the following:

  • Time & Billing module for tracking and invoicing employees billable time
  • Bill of Materials feature in the inventory module for assembling components into finished goods
  • Retain up to 100 years of monthly closing balances for General Ledger Accounts
